Triple Crown of BBQ

BBQ is back and bigger than ever in Polk County! We are already one competition into the Triple Crown of BBQ, where BBQ trucks, seasoned pitmasters, and talented vendors compete to see who serves up the BEST BBQ. The community gets to enjoy smoky goodness, but the winner of the Triple Crown takes home a sweet cash prize of $1,500!

The competition fired up at the 29th annual Lakeland Pig Fest on January 23rd, at Sun N Fun’s Expo Campus. Round two of the competition heads over to Haines City on February 20-21 for Ribs on the Ridge. Hosted at Lake Eva Park, amateur chefs and experienced chefs alike are all welcome to show off their skills in hopes of winning the second competition of the three-part series.

To wrap up The Triple Crown, Pitmasters in Paradise is bringing the heat to Auburndale on April 24 and 25. The winners will be announced, so mark your calendars now!
